Eligibility and Handicaps:
Every league member must have a WSGA handicap This service is included in the $30 League Membership fee. Handicaps will be established during the first 2 weeks of the league and will be updated each week. The maximum number of handicap strokes we will allow any player is 18 for nine holes, regardless of WSGA handicap calculations.
Subs will be allowed to play 2 times before they will be subject to paying the League Membership fee. Subs without a WSGA handicap will receive 80% of their strokes over par.
Format & Scoring:
9 Hole Stroke play. 1 Best Ball Net. This means we will record the best handicapped score from any teammate on each hole. Each week your team will be competing against another team for a point value.
Weeks 3 - 8 are worth 1 point.
Weeks 9 - 12 are worth 2 points.
Weeks 13 - 15 are worth 3 points.
Week 16 - League Championship 5 Points.
Additional Information:
Teams can have anywhere from 4 - 12 players on their roster. All 12 players can participate each week. *However teams must play in groups of 4 or less, teams caught violating this rule will forfeit their points for that week.
Teams that NO SHOW or drop out of the league will forfeit their points for that week and will also have 1 point subtracted from their overall season total. The team they were scheduled to play will receive the points for that week.
There will be an informational meeting for all team captains on Monday, May 2nd at Lake Wisconsin Country Club at 5:30 pm. *At least one member from each team must be present at this meeting. Topics covered at this meeting will include rules, etiquette and scheduling.
Rosters must be submitted along with any League Membership fees and are due
by the informational meeting Monday, May 2nd.
